Shown in the USA he stood 3rd as a weanling, 4th as a yearling at the World Championships, 4th at the US Nationals and achieved his ROM at Halter. He was imported to Australia as a 2yr old, by Margaret & Mark O'Brien, Bill& Cathy Smith and Arthur & Elva Hiscock. He has always stood at Ashfield Stud, based in Queensland.
Mega is sired by what many believe to be the most influential sire in the Appaloosa breed; Dreamfinder. He is from the mare My Little Margie (sire The Executive) known for producing exceptional progeny. Both sire and dam are inductees into the ApHC's Hall of Fame.
Mega Dream has sired progeny who have achieved the country's highest awards in many differing disciplines. And his grand get continues the tradition.

Breeze Bars, a bay leopard, was born the 5th of May 1972. Bred by Don Hetrick Vancouver and sold to W & M Stephens Battleground Washinton, USA. He was then sold in1973 and imported to Australia as a yearling by Bob & Sally Wearing.
Breeze Bars came from old Appaloosa lines, which were mixed with working quarter horse, sprint racers and Thoughbreds. This made for a young stallion who produced progeny with great versatility.
He spent his early years at Shalimar Stud in Beaudesert Qld where he stood along side ‘Lakeside Cheers' and other imported stallions.
In 1985 Wal McCall purchased Breeze Bars and he moved to the south coast of NSW. Three Star Stud purchased him at the end of 1985 where he spent the rest of his life.
His fourteen years spent with Three Star Stud saw him produce such champions such as Shalimar Mr Breeze, TS Passing Breeze, TS Morning Breeze, TS Holly Breeze, TS Breeze Will Do, TS Frosty Breeze, TS Designed By Breeze Jigadee Miss T and many more. Four of these are AAA Champions with Jigadee Miss Breeze and Ts Holly Breeze achieving their Superior All Round Horse awards.
Jigadee Miss T Breeze and TS Breeze Will Do have also been awarded Overall Performance Horse of Australia. TS Designed By Breeze has been High Point English Horse of Australia. This shows the versatility produced by Breeze Bars, builder of the breed.
J. Noel Cook - Foundation AAA member elected to Council at the inaugural meeting held 13th February 1971. Later at the first Council meeting he was elected first President, this was a three year term for President only.
He spent much time guiding the Association in its initial stages through knowledge gained on the Appaloosa and the running of a breed registry though various trips to the USA over six years - This information from his history for re-election - 1974.
He was President seven times from 1971 - 1977 and re-elected 1985 - 1986.
Along with Helen Cook, they travelled to America and imported many Appaloosa Horses and showed many National Champions including Colida's Lad.
A foundation member of the AAA Association Helen saw the need in 1969 for a breed registry for the Appaloosa horse.
In her notes for re-election to the Council in May 1974 she said "in 1969 Lucky Dash Jnr arrived and started breeding, I started thinking of an Appaloosa club. As most people thought it was too early I went ahead and had six service books of service certificates printed, two for each stallion. If it was not for these books we would never have traced the first mare bred. Two years later I was still wishing for a club to keep records, so I called a meeting in 1971 at Nathalia and with a constitution drawn up, we had a meeting. This meeting was held on the 13th February and the Appaloosa Association of Australia was formed".
Helen was elected to Council and then the Council appointed her Honorary Secretary - Treasurer. She spent seven years as Secretary - Treasurer.
1972 saw Helen organize the first National Show.
Helen was instrumental in providing a constitution, a Rule Book and the first Stud Book for the Association.

Max was also president 1980 - 1981, 1983 - 1984, and 1984 - 1985.
Max along with his wife Beryl were very committed to the Murray Country Regional Appaloosa Club helping to run the very successful Victorian State Show, Max was involved in running the 4th National Show in April 1976.

Joker's Monte was known, in the US, as the Champion of Champions in Halter, Western Pleasure, Reining and Roping, and won at some of America's largest shows e.g. The Nationals, Fort Worth, Houston and the All American Sweepstakes.
He was purchased from Money Creek Ranch, in America, by Ted Hodges of Willow Park Stud, Scone NSW, and he arrived in Australia in April 1974. Once here Joker's Monte, trained and ridden by Joe Davis, continued on his winning ways on the show circuit in four states. Some of his achievements in Australia include being "Hi-Point Performance and Cattle Horse" at the 5th National Show held in Maitland, NSW, in April 1977.
