Australian Appaloosa Youth Association

The AAA Ltd is a family orientated Association and we try to provide programs for all the family.

If your aged between 2 and 18 years of age, ride an Appaloosa and want to meet other kids just like you then the Appaloosa Youth Association is the place for you!

There are Appaloosa Youth all over Australia who regularly compete at Regional Club shows, State Championships and of cause, the Nationals. Kids come from all walks of life with the common bond of the love of the Appaloosa.

At State and National shows the Youth regularly organise get togethers, clinics and outings. The AAA Ltd encourages friendship, sportsmanship and above all, fun for our Youth. And we are proud of the outstanding achievements of many of our Youth that compete in open company. Many Youth compete in non-traditional areas of the equestrian world, showing great pride in their horses.

There are awards especially for the High Point Youth of Australia each year, taken from the different age divisions. High Point awards are also given out to youth from each state for each age divisions.  These points are accumulated over the show season.

Throughout your time as a youth your points continue to accumulate and you will receive awards such as the Register of Achievement all the way through to AAA Ltd Youth Award of Excellence.

Through new programs The AAA Ltd is looking to help support Appaloosa youth who compete in non traditional events such as pony club and camp drafting. (But you must be an Appaloosas youth who rides a registered Appaloosa)

There are also support for youth events such as clinics, camps and international competitions.

The Youth Association met at every National show and elects a committee and state delegates. The youth are very actively involved with the Association and regularly host many fun events at state and national shows.
